Myrtle Beach Classic Volunteer Opportunities

The volunteer website for the 2024 Myrtle Beach Classic is still being set up. However, there is a Volunteer Interest form that can be filled out. It will add you to a mailing list, so you can get information directly from the tournament, when volunteer registration opens.

The inaugural PGA TOUR event will be held from May 6 to May 12, 2024. The host course is the Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrle Beach, SC.

The PURE Insurance Championship Impacting First Tee provides a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. It takes an army of volunteers sharing their time, talent and passion to help run all aspects of our PGA TOUR Champions tournament. Volunteers are critical to the success of our event and serve a wide variety of functions like registration, guest services, scoring, marshaling, and transportation.

Our volunteers experience camaraderie while interacting with our players, sponsors, and fans. Perhaps the best part of volunteering for the PURE Insurance Championship is knowing that you are helping Monterey Peninsula Foundation in their mission to support nonprofits throughout Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz counties.

The American Express Volunteer Registration is Open Now

The American Express Volunteer Registration is open now (as of Sep 5, 2023).

Tournament Week is Jan 15 - Jan 21, 2024.

The American Express will be held on three different courses. The tournament is a 3-day Pro-Am and will be played at La Quinta Country Club and at PGA WEST (on the Nicklaus Tournament and Stadium Course). Committees will specify which course you will be located at. If you are (or want to be) a Player/VIP Transportation volunteer, some of your shifts will be at PSP (Palm Springs Airport).
