Kroger Queen City Championship Volunteer Opportunities

As of July 28th, 2023, there are still some open Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G volunteer opportunities.

This year's tournament week is from September 4 to September 10, 2023.  The host course is Kenwood Country Club in Cincinnatti, OH. This LPGA Tour event was founded in 2022 and is taking the city by storm. Lots of volunteers have volunteered last year and are instrumental of making tournaments like this possible - especially with the impact for the local community.

Volunteer opportunities exist in these areas (just to name a few):

• Scoring Services

Volunteer Opportunities - 2023 - Queen City LPGA

The fee to volunteer is $50 and includes:

• Official Volunteer Uniform (polo shirt and hat)
• Admission to the tournament for the week
• 2 weekly passes for family and friends
• Invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Party
• Meals provided per shift and drinks/snacks throughout the day

Boeing Classic Volunteer Registration Still Open

Boeing Classic Volunteer Registration for the 2023 tournament is still open - as of July 23, 2023.

The 2023 Boeing Classic will be held at:

Tournament week is from August 7 - August 13, 2023.

As in all PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions events, volunteers play an integral role in staging an event, that has tremendous impact on the local community. The 2023 Boeing Classic beneficiary is the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (BRI).

Golf Volunteer Opportunities at Aliso Viejo Country Club

Join some golf volunteers at the 11th Annual HOPE Golf Tournament on Monday, August 28th, 2023.

We were approached by the Volunteer Manager of this charity event to help fill the last remaining slots to help out this year. The tournament will be held at Aliso Viejo Country Club in Orange County.

If anyone is interested, please reach out to Nikki Willkomm (nwillkomm@laurashouse.org), the Volunteer Manager at Laura's House, the local nonprofit hosting the event.

Here are just a few examples of where help is still needed:

• Putting Contest Monitor: Collect completed cards from players who are participating in the putting contest.

• Closest to the Pin: Will be provided directions to measure balls closest to the pin and track for all foursomes. Volunteer may bring a camper chair for between foursomes.
• 10:30am-1:30pm

• Charity Golf international: One volunteer will remain on the tee box with the pro to process any donations made. They will be provided with a cash bag, log sheet, and a wireless card reader to process any credit card transactions. After the last foursome comes through the tee box, the volunteer and the pro will tally all donations and sign off on the total. Second volunteer will be placed near the green to act as a witness. When the foursomes are attempting to make the Hole in 2, they will need to be a minimum of 150 yards out from the hole. It is important that the green volunteer understands the contest; our pro drives the ball; each golfer drops their ball where the pro’s ball landed and attempts to make a Hole in 2. Volunteer may bring a camper chair for between foursomes.

• Long Drive: Will be provided directions to track longest drives (Men's & Women's) for all foursomes. Volunteer may bring a camper chair for between foursomes.

Mark your calendars. On September 5, 2023, The American Express Volunteer Registration will open for all volunteers.

We will publish an updated post with registration link as it goes live close to September 5th.

This year will mark the 65th anniversary of the tournament, which - as of a few years ago - is now known as The American Express.

Volunteers will be needed for many different committees.
