2022/2023 PGA TOUR Schedule Released on 8/1/2022
On August 1, 2022, the PGA TOUR released the tournament schedule for the 2022/23 season. Find all the tournaments listed here: Volunteer Opportunities at PGA Tournaments (golf-volunteers.com).
The wrap-around season will begin in September in Napa, CA. A few qualified players will represent Team USA and the International Team at the 2022 Presidents Cup the week after. A little break in the schedule will allow players to rest towards the end of 2022, before the year 2023 kicks off with the Sentry Tournament of Champions on Maui.
In addition to the 2022/23 schedule, the same page also contains tournaments with the respective links to the volunteer pages for each tournament for the 2022/23 season as well as previous seasons. Even in 2022, there are a few volunteer spots available in the remaining tournaments.
For the PGA TOUR Champions, the schedule will be released later this year. Once it becomes available, we will update our page accordingly: PGA TOUR Champions Schedule
We've gotten several inquiries about registering as a volunteer for the 2023 US OPEN at Los Angeles Country Club. As usual, volunteer spots will be occupied fast. Approximately 3,500 volunteers will be needed. As of 7/22/2022, registration is still possible.
It will be the 123rd US Open and take place from June 12 to 18th, 2023 in Los Angeles, CA.
The Los Angeles Country Club is located on Wilshire Blvd, just a few miles East of I-405 and has hosted other large golf tournaments before, such as the 2017 Walker Cup.

This year, 2022, the CJ Cup will happen in South Carolina. Congaree Golf Club is just North of Ridgeland, SC - approximately 45 minutes West of Hilton Head, SC. The drive from Savannah, GA (the main airport used for this event) is also close to 45 minutes.
Tournament week will be 10/17/2022 - 10/23/2022.

A few months after the Palmetto Championship, I (Andreas) had a chance to play a round at Congaree. It's a tough course. It's long. However, the course is so nice. It was a great experience. Below a couple of pictures from that fantastic day.
Finally, Ryder Cup week is about to start. Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Ryder Cup 2020 will be played in 2021. The course at Whistling Straits is in immaculate condition. TEAM USA needs 14 1/2 points to win the cup, TEAM Europe needs 14 points to retain the cup.
