Golf Volunteer Opportunities at Aliso Viejo Country Club

Join some golf volunteers at the 11th Annual HOPE Golf Tournament on Monday, August 28th, 2023.

We were approached by the Volunteer Manager of this charity event to help fill the last remaining slots to help out this year. The tournament will be held at Aliso Viejo Country Club in Orange County.

Here are just a few examples of where help is still needed:

• Putting Contest Monitor: Collect completed cards from players who are participating in the putting contest.

• Closest to the Pin: Will be provided directions to measure balls closest to the pin and track for all foursomes. Volunteer may bring a camper chair for between foursomes.
• 10:30am-1:30pm

• Charity Golf international: One volunteer will remain on the tee box with the pro to process any donations made. They will be provided with a cash bag, log sheet, and a wireless card reader to process any credit card transactions. After the last foursome comes through the tee box, the volunteer and the pro will tally all donations and sign off on the total. Second volunteer will be placed near the green to act as a witness. When the foursomes are attempting to make the Hole in 2, they will need to be a minimum of 150 yards out from the hole. It is important that the green volunteer understands the contest; our pro drives the ball; each golfer drops their ball where the pro’s ball landed and attempts to make a Hole in 2. Volunteer may bring a camper chair for between foursomes.

• Long Drive: Will be provided directions to track longest drives (Men's & Women's) for all foursomes. Volunteer may bring a camper chair for between foursomes.
