The Classic in The Palm Beaches Volunteer Registration Open Now
The Classic in The Palm Beaches volunteer registration has been opened. Over 1,600 volunteers make this PGA TOUR tournament possible. The tournament will be held at PGA National Resort - Champions Course in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida from February 26 - March 3, 2024.

Volunteers will be needed for many committees. Here is just an excerpt of the committee list. Please see the official volunteer website for all committees and their respective descriptions:
- Admissions
- Ticket sales and credential scanning at tournament entrances. Issue proper credentials to members of military and allied organizations. One weekend day is required for all volunteers.
- Advance / Player Transition
- Assigned to a group of players to accompany them for the entire eighteen holes. Walk ahead of the players to ensure access to tee boxes, cross walks, and green’s exits are properly staffed and there is nothing impeding access to these areas. Must be able to walk eighteen holes. One weekend day is required for all volunteers.
PLAYER TRANSITION TEAM: Escort players through transition areas which include the Putting Greens, 1st & 10th tees, 9th & 18th greens and player clubhouse. Assist with course evacuation as needed.
- Caddie Services
- Register professional caddies, maintain caddie area, distribute/collect/wash caddie bibs & towels. One weekend day is required for all volunteers.
- Cart Control
- Maintain and distribute golf carts, including charging/preparation of carts for the next day. Shifts begin at 5AM. One weekend day is required for all volunteers.
- Childcare
- Assist the PGA TOUR staff in providing childcare for the children of the players. Background checks required; must be at least 18 yrs. of age. One weekend day is required for all volunteers.
- Communications
- Answer incoming calls, provide information, take messages & transfer calls to other areas. Organize radio distribution. Manage daily radio check-out, check-in, charging & training on proper radio use. One weekend day is required for all volunteers.
- Competition Support
- Shotlink Mobile Spotters (SMS) locate and flag shots, assist with ball flight tracking from tee, and relay pertinent information to the PGA TOUR Scoring tech. SMS should be physically able to walk/stand for the duration of their shift. A one-hour online training course, a one-hour in person training session, and an on-course training on Wednesday of tournament week, are required. Volunteers must sign a Disclosure Form. One weekend day is required for all volunteers
